How to travel without a calorie counter and avoid the post-holiday bump?

Deb is off on a big holiday this month and after working very hard at the beginning of the year to lose 7kg, she was particularly concerned about how to avoid stacking it all back on while travelling.

So how do you travel and enjoy your holiday without calorie counting?

Deborah recently completed a weight loss program with the LifeShape Clinic and in this video, she asks her program manager and Sydney dietitian Robynne for her advice.

Robynne says there are four things Deb can do:

  1. Give yourself a “Calorie Budget” to trade off meals and use intuitive eating to pick and choose when you eat
  2. When you do have control. For example, when you can prep your own breakfast chose wisely. You could also choose some snacks to keep you going until you find the next appropriate meal.
  3. Plan ahead where you can
  4. Eat smaller quantities of rich foods
