Deborah Hutton launched her new cook book, Entertaining Made Easy with Deborah Hutton, at the Miele Experience Centre recently. In this video she talks about why she wrote the book.
Deborah says in our modern world, we often forget to connect face to face. She says, finding balance is about reconnecting with friends and family and there is no better way to do that than inviting them around for lunch or dinner party.
“One of the things I do for balance in my life is to invite people around for a meal. I love nothing more and have a table for 8 at home.
“It’s a beautiful thing to sit there with your best mates and share a couple of dishes over many hours and a few bottles of wine. The essence of it (the book) is to inspire people, even if it’s just light up the barbie and throw on a chop… it doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to bring people into your home.”
In this next video Deb explains how Entertaining Made Easy with Deborah Hutton is more than just a cook book.
She says Entertaining Made Easy with Deborah Hutton is a 101 guide for entertaining including tips for theming, planning and easy meals.
