Rick Stein on finding Balance and traveling non-stop

How does a celebrity chef with more than seven restaurants globally, a full time filming and cookbook writing schedule find balance?

In this video Deborah talks to Rick about finding balance in his chaotic life. Rick says it’s a constant challenge to maintain his life and stay on top of his commitments but moving out of the daily grind of being in the kitchen was key to finding his balance.

“I look at it from stress levels. The one thing that in my life that stressed me above all else was cooking daily in a busy restaurant kitchen,” Rick said.

“So anything after that is easy. I actually like travelling.”

How does Rick now cope with stress?

According to Rick his ability to cope with stress is largely due to having an Australian wife which keeps him grounded and sensible.
