In this series of videos, we sit down with one of Australia’s most popular media personalities Melissa Doyle.
The former co-host on Sunrise shares her thoughts on how to be grateful, the power of giving back, relationships, motherhood, success, staying healthy and how to have balance while aging gracefully. We also discuss her transition from Sunrise and her new book Alphabet Soup.
In this book, Melissa shares her favourite moments from the last ten years of her life. From red carpet appearances, working with Kochie, reporting on top stories, and how she juggled it all and still managed to do the school run.
Melissa started her career as a television news reporter in Canberra and joined the Seven Network in 1995. Some of her most notable coverages include reporting at the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Catherine and the Inauguration of Barack Obama.
When Melissa is not reporting onscreen, she does a lot of charity work. She is the National Patron for Make A Wish and an ambassador for Westmead Children’s Hospital, World Vision, Children’s Cancer Institute and the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Melissa also co-authored the Working Mothers Survival Guide in 2007 and she is a proud mother of two.
