The mind-body connection and embracing your greatness

March 22, 2017 by Balance Team

Popular Balance life coach, author and speaker Dr Dain Heer visits Deborah in the studio this week to discuss the mind-body connection, the impact of emotions on our physical health and the importance of putting yourself first. He also gives Deb a personal counselling session about relationships!

Throughout this series of interviews, Dain prescribes practical solutions on how to create real change in your life, restore balance and embrace your true greatness!

Originally trained as a chiropractor Dr Dain Heer has a completely different approach to healing by facilitating people to tap into and recognise their own abilities and knowing.

In the interview above, Deborah and Dain focus on how negative thoughts and emotions can present as physical aches and pains.

They discuss how many physical ailments, such as a sore neck may not be a result of having damaged that particular muscle.

“In actuality, it’s our thoughts, our feelings and our emotions that create how our body shows up,” said Dain.

Dain encourages us to try and determine the “root cause” of our sickness or pain.

Once identified, Dain believes that we can “destroy and uncreate it, meaning we let it go.”

“If you can start to recognise there are correlations, not to everything, but to a lot of things, you can get to the cause and undo it,” said Dain.

In tomorrow’s video, Dain gives further insight into the mind-body connection and provides advice on how to clarify and process the root issues that may be causing physical pain.

Confidence

This article originally appeared in Virgin Voyeur Magazine. I believe we all have capabilities beyond what we give ourselves credit, so why do we often mark ourselves down in the company of others who we perceive as being smarter and more successful than us? Perhaps it’s just human nature but where does our self-doubt stem […]
