How to find balance in your busy life, no matter who you are

By

Research says that we need to find better balance in life. Not that we really needed a statistic to tell us that, but it is interesting to learn that most of the world’s 3.4 billion workers are unwell. Living with serious economic insecurity; aging at an historic rate, unhealthy with 52% being overweight/obese and 76% reporting they struggle with their wellbeing*.

This week on Balance we went into our vault to find recipes for balance from some of the amazing women we’ve interviewed since 2013 and in today’s clip we know you’ll enjoy hearing from Rebecca Gibney, Layne Beachley, Sonia Kruger, Julia Morris, Professor Kerryn Phelps, Zoe Bingley-Pullin, Marina Prior, Helen McCabe and our very own Deborah Hutton.

We all know that travel is good for the soul, and surely has to be an ingredient for balance, so we’re also featuring Jane Kennedy and Jack De Losa telling us why Paris is in the words of Audrey Hepburn ‘always a good idea’. Australia’s first lady of cruising, Sarina Bratton shares her insight into why Aussies love holiday cruises.

Finally, we finish the week with former Queensland Premier, Anna Bligh revealing her recipe for balance and how it’s changed since her days in politics.
