With the end of the year almost upon us there is never a better time to talk festivities.
I don’t know about you, but for me the end of the year can be especially challenging when we are in menopause. I remember feeling exhausted and having no motivation to get through the endless social events, Christmas shopping, meal-planning and then organising to go away with the family on holiday.
My energy levels were at rock-bottom. Feeling burnt-out, tired and still trying to push through the endless tasks, it became too easy to turn to C.A.T.S. It’s what we do when we feel stressed, especially when we aren’t sleeping during menopause. We go for the quick-fixes that fuel our brain and muscles – Caffeine, Alcohol, Tobacco and Sugars – C.A.T.S.!
But it’s not just the cravings for C.A.T.S. that is the problem. It’s also the effect that these quick-fixes have on our liver health, blood sugars, sleep and even our temperature regulation during menopause.
So I have produced a new webinar to help you. It’s full of advice, tips and tricks to cope with attending numerous social festivities during menopause. I know that I used to struggle at this time of year too, so I hope you can make the time to listen to it.
Menopause can make social functions challenging so I’ve put together my top 10 tips to help you manage many of the Festive Season temptations that interfere with your menopause symptoms.
