Some people choose meditation. Others prefer to go for a hike. How does television host Sarah Harris find peace of mind? She says she couldn’t get by without a regular visit to her shrink.
For the past four years she has been seeking the support of a psychologist and in this interview she explains why cognitive behavioural therapy has been so beneficial for her in terms of working through issues.
“You leave feeling lighter and more in control and more positive about things,” Sarah said about her visits to her psychologist.
She says she can’t understand why more women don’t invest in a good therapist.
“We spend all this money on personal trainers, facials, massages – but you have to invest in your mental health,” she said.
