I am a big believer that having a vision in life is essential to creating the life you want to create. One way to keep your vision front and centre of your life is to have a vision board that you see daily.
This can be done digitally or physically. I collect pictures, quotes, words and phrases from magazines that represent my vision, then go about showcasing them on my vision board.
There are some great online vision boards you can use or you could even use Pinterest.
If you would like a physical vision board, kikki.K has a variety of tools for making your vision come to life. I have a kikki.K vision board that sits above my computer and I am constantly reminded of my focus for the day and year.
We are all inspired and stimulated in different ways so you need to find what works best for you. You may like to put your vision into dot points and put a daily reminder on your phone or screen saver.
Or you could write your vision or a quote that summarises your vision on your bathroom mirror with a whiteboard marker.
Another way can be to break down your vision into different areas and put vision statements in particular areas of your house. For example, if you are trying to lose weight you might put a vision statement about you ideal weight and body image in the pantry to help influence and guide your choices.
At the start of every year I strip my vision board bare and start collecting images, words and phrases that inspire and encapsulate my next year’s vision. It’s a great ritual for sustainable steps to success.
