Cosmetic surgery and treatments. What’s the future?

As “guinea pig” in over 178 beauty experiments from chin liposuction to equine therapy to vitamin infusions, Stephanie Darling has seen the very latest in beauty trends. In this interview, she shares her opinion on the future of cosmetic surgery and treatments.

Cosmetic surgery and treatments. What’s the future for maintaining your beauty?

“The feeling now is that fillers and botox and toxins can only get you so far,” said Stephanie.

“(When you get into your 50’s) it’s about the facelift and those sorts of procedures are coming back,” she said.

“It’s much more natural, but it’s still surgery and it is an invasive procedure,” said Stephanie.

Stephanie believes that the lower face is the focus for women over 50 including the chin, jawline and neck.

“That’s probably my next experiment, a neck lift,” laughs Stephanie.

Tomorrow Stephanie recalls her interviews with two of the world’s most famous beauty icons – Jane Fonda and Dame Edna Everage and tells us the one beauty secret we need to add to our daily routine.

Could not agree more! I have dermapen treatments, chemical peels, Botox and fillers and none of it stops my face from heading south. Next step for me will be a lower half facelift.
